I found this cool map while browsing Flickr and created a world map of places I have visited:

Even though I’ve been to about 20 countries, it’s a bit of an anti-climax seeing them on a world map, half the countries are in Europe and are TINY. Feels like I haven’t seen much at all! Now I want to go to Vladivostok and China just to put more red on the map. And Brazil, Argentina and South Africa. It’s also a bit funny to see Alaska in red, since I never, ever want to be anywhere that cold!
Anyhow, that just totally fed my wanderlust. Now I just have to get there.

That is pretty cool – though I must say that it feels like you are cheating a bit colouring the whole of Australia and US.
How about South America – haven’t you been roaming around there?

Well Paul, there wasn’t any option for just colouring a bit of each country. Something to do with the map being too big otherwise… Anyway, it still looks pathetically under-visited. =)
And no, haven’t been south of Mexico. Yet.
