We made some new friends hiking at Wilsons Prom. Carlos & Mar were hiking with some visitors along the same route we were doing, and when we stopped on a picturesque rock, we started chatting. It was a bit scary to find out that they were both physicists. It meant there were 3 physicists in a group of 9. 30% physicists = nerd central. Arrrrhhh……
Anyhow, if you read the other post, they invited us to dinner to thank us for lending them our stove. We had a great time, learning how to make Spanish tortillas, and joking around. Never have I met a bunch of less boring scientists in one room!!
Today is Father’s Day in Australia. We all had a great time with P’s family, enjoying a yummy barbie and just hanging out.
We were supposed to go to the snow, but ended up laying about, cleaning the house and relaxing instead of running around like mad chickens getting ready, going to the snow, and coming back. It’s been a very happy, wonderful weekend! Hopefully I get more of these!!
